Two men hide behind a fence at a border checkpoint. They have just begun their escape from oppression and persecution in their home country. Only one of them will make it to Sweden. He is the comet. The film stars Abdi Aziis, who himself endured a similar, hellish journey from Somalia to Sweden to escape the persecution of homosexuals.

Kometen is an interpretation of Melker Garay’s short story of the same name.
