Johan’s mother Inga Britt becomes ill with Alzheimer’s disease at the same time as he himself becomes a parent. He is once again reminded of and faced with memories of his complicated upbringing. A mixture of grief and tough recollections of his complex relationship with his mother hits him, and Johan decides to bring his family and move back to his home town to deepen the relationship with his mother, before it is too late.
